Day 20: give yourself permission 💯

It’s Day 20 of #The100DayProject. How’s your project going so far? What’s working? What’s not? What are you learning so far?
Today we have a few words of wisdom from filmmakers Ava DuVernay:
“Don't wait for permission to do something creative.”
Waiting for permission can look like a lot of things – waiting to have the right tools, waiting to have the right skills, waiting to have enough time or space or money.
Are you waiting for permission? Can you give yourself permission, without waiting for the conditions to be “right” or the validation of others?

I'm so excited to have made it through 20 days! As someone posted on FB, 1/5th of the way there. I think I've been waiting over a year to do something like this (creativity levels were way down in 2020-21) and am so grateful for the opportunity and the fact I am granting myself time to do something I am loving more everyday.
