Yes to all of this! I wrote recently as well about the value of creative cohorts. When you experience it you want to tell the world! I'm still building mine and it's kind of a web of artists, gardeners and poets and I'm somewhere in the middle; I'm where my network intersects which actually not only benefits me but creates cross collabs between poets and watercolorists, gardeners and short story writers. I recently invited some of them to my house for an instapot dinner. Simple, cheap and easy and the rewards multiplied. We got to know each other better, we shared art (it was my house so I shared sketchbooks), and fed ourselves literally and figuratively. At the same time I joined a Sunday zoom art group this weeked, just an hour a week. Thankful it has a host, so I can drop in and connect when I need and want to!
What a great idea! Bringing together other creators, who are not necessarily writers or people who draw. I’m thinking of my friends who make quilts and cook and raise children and do other creative things.
Thank you. This is something that I have been thinking about a lot.

Yes! Love this idea Anna of a creative cohort. Even with a small group of creatives, I derive so much inspiration from community!
