Thank you for a wonderful reflective 100 Days. I’ve participated in the 100 day project since 2016. I skipped two years but don’t remember why. I loved this project when I found it because from 2000-2006 I had my then young children practice their violins for 100 days each year with a trophy received at 100 continuous days completed. (As a homeschool family this was exciting as they didn’t receive “awards” for accomplishments and this satisfied that need at the time). So funny now because our rules were more strict then this 100 days and they carried their violins on all overnight trips and played in many different living rooms.
This year for me joining the Substack community has been fulfilling and a wonderful spark and insight. The perspectives and beautiful work shared is so to be admired.
New to Substack, I started 2025 finding Wendy Mac’s 30 days giving my work so many more layers, then rolled into the 100 day project with new eyes and expressions.
Thank you Lindsey and everyone for sustaining communities that hold people dear with guidance and kindness. Looking forward.
Thank you for shouldering this immense project! I am honored to be part of it this year.
As my writing blossoms and blooms, it pushes out time for other concerns, so I haven’t been creating something specific to the project every day. But, as you sapiently point out, that is okay.
I value each of the daily meditations, even though I don’t comment often.
Dear Lindsey and friends. This has been such a wonderful journey, new beginnings and threads continued. Lindsey, I am so grateful for this opportunity and the structure you created. I will continue with many of the ideas I worked on this year. For me, it was just so nice to be in my studio regularly and to share with you all and to see what you were sharing too.
Thank you. 3rd year and I was finally successful. I did 100 days of lettering prompts with the help of a book The Art of Whimsical Lettering by Joanne Sharpe and a tutorial by artist Kristen Fagen on how to use gel plates, which I used for some of my backgrounds. With your posts combined I finished. I feel good about myself and thank you too for the shared artists of which some I am now following.
It’s been nice but I have artifacts that I want to give away—some keepers…who else has artifacts from the challenge they want to transform, re-mix, or send off?
Mine are in form of these postcards —waiting for you:
Some days were tough and I'm sad it's over. But of course it's never really over . . . thank you!
🙌

I’m so glad! Thank you for being part of it. Excited to see what you make in your studio next 💓
I would love to gather IRL with folks in the Washington, D.C. area
Just discovered the 100 Day Project—and I’m all in. The idea still resonates: creativity builds community and art fuels positive aging.
✨ Follow @webbieofwonder for a fresh take on aging—curious, bold, and free from outdated stereotypes.
Welcome, Webb!
Thank you for the tremendous amount of time and care you've put into leading us through this creative experiment, Lindsay!
Thank YOU! This has been a wonderful experience.
🙏💓🙌
Whenever I missed a day I picked up where I left off on the next, so I’m on day 84 and am going to keep going until I get to 100!
Didn’t keep up. Last day collage.

Cool! I’m going to send an email soon with things people are doing with their projects if you’d like me to share?
I want to give these postcards away and posted a Note and no takers! I’m like, “Does my work suck like rotten eggs?”
Hiya! Has a new 100 days date been confirmed yet? 😍
