The 100 Day Project 2026
hello + Happy New Year!
Hi, friends!
Happy New Year! It feels good to be back here with you. Last year was a DOOZY. There were real low lows and some unexpected high highs in my corner of the world. I’m so grateful for the people and practices that helped me stay (mostly) sane, grounded, and connected. This community and my creative practice are a big part of that.
Yes, we’re doing another round of The 100 Day Project! I know some of you are already asking about dates—thank you for reaching out, I love the enthusiasm. Plan for mid/late February again, and I’ll share more details very soon.
Today is more of a hello, it’s been a while, how are you, really? moment, but if you’re feeling ready to start warming up creatively, there are some wonderful challenges happening this month that could be great prep for your project. These are a few that I know of, though there are probably more out there. Most of them began on the first, but remember—any day is a great day to get started.
Wendy MacNaughton’s 30 Days of Drawing
La Vie en Watercolor / Jessie Kanelos Weiner’s 31 Days of Watercolor
And Carolyn Yoo’s 31 Days of Creative Resilience
A few other creative warm-up ideas:
Write a more/less list
Look up your tarot card of the year
Pick a theme for the year (mine is synchronicity)
Tidy up your creative supplies or space
Reflect on last year’s project or creative work
If you’re new here, welcome! Here’s some background on the project—I’ll start sharing more resources soon. We’ll have plenty of time for you to get ready before we begin the project next month. For now, you might start jotting down your project ideas. Say hello in the comments and let us know where you’re joining from and what you’re thinking about making!
XO,
Lindsay

Woohoo! My word is "Aliveness" - can't wait to apply this to the project ♥️
My word for the year is voice. As in finding my artistic voice, so I am looking forward to this round of 100 days ☺️
