Great to hear from you. Frankly, I fail every year at completing my 100 days - mostly because there have been so many other projects going on. So, I am slimming down from the "morbid obesity" of creative overload. We are supposed to be having fun, right? Especially now in this bloody mess of a stress environment we are trying to navigate. The only thing we can do is self-care and the spreading of all the love and joy we can muster. I think your 100 days project is the perfect vehicle, so thank you for holding it again. I plan 100 3"x3" paintings in mixed media (watercolor, acrylic, watercolor pencils, acrylic markers and heaven knows what else!) Ready when you are!
Yes to fun and the discernment to know what we need and what we don’t—and yes especially in these never ending “unprecedented” times. I’m glad you’re enjoying the project, and as always I think however many days you do is perfect 🙌
My word this year is Courage. I have started a drawing project - one each day starting January 1. Looking forward to the 100 days project. I participated in full (nearly) in 2023 and it saved me. I broke my ankle in mid March and was recuperating for a few weeks. I was happy to have my knitting project to keep me on track.
Happy New Year! 🎉 I’ve been anticipating this update ☺️ Super excited about doing the project this year and eager to introduce new people to the practice. ❤️✨
I have two words for this year (greedy): Embodiment and Immersion. The 100 day is taking care of the latter. I have my project sorted (it’s the one I wanted to do in 2024 but just didn’t have the bandwidth) and I’m really excited. Can’t wait to join everyone on the journey! xAB
My word for the year is CLEAR. And I am so excited about this years 100 days. I just bought myself a pattern to do a cross stitch. So there will be 100 small (11x11) icons cross stitched. Yay!!
Heya! I’m so stoked to join this year! For my 40th birthday, I asked my friends from around the world for 1 bead each. Initially it was going to be an infinity necklace, but 140 contributions later, with the most randoms bobs and bobbles, I needed to pivot. So I’m going to bead embroider my favorite denim jacket from hs, as I mend it with patches composed of the items gifted to me. I can’t wait to get this project started!!!
I wasn’t going to pick a word but I did decide to live out the seasons this year. Then yesterday, I had the word GROW pop into my head and it was very urgent and intense. I heard it as a very swift verb “Grow” and it has vitality to it. It feels like the word that will carry me through all the seasons!
So great to be back for #the💯dayproject, and Happy NY! ✨💭😍
We just wrapped up 12 Days of Winter Wonder at Creatively Wondering, and today’s also the last day of Beth Kempton’s Winter Writing Sanctuary. ❄️🚂
Sounds lovely, thanks for sharing Georgina! And welcome back!
My word for the year is voice. As in finding my artistic voice, so I am looking forward to this round of 100 days ☺️
🙌
Woohoo! My word is "Aliveness" - can't wait to apply this to the project ♥️
Woot woot!

What is the 100 day project? I’m new here.
