Excited to begin a new writing project tomorrow—I plan to write 250-300 word flash fiction story every day. Of course they’ll stink, but I can’t revise something if I haven’t written something.

I have 5 tablets of 20 pages each of mixed media paper and a bag full of paint and a fistful of paint brushes already to go. Also a bag of old magazines to throw some collage in there. This is my first #The100dayproject!! Bring it in!!

Count me in! Would love to join you. I am a first timer. The last half of 2023 I have become totally fascinated with collage and abstract. I have set 15 minutes a day for paint play, just for me. I can't wait to make all that new paper and create small collages and explore abstracts. Will I make it the 100 days? Won't know until I try!

This is my first time officially signing up for this project! I’m excited. 😃 I plan on do a mixed media Rolodex card each day for 100 days. I e been saving that thing forever. Now I know why!

I plan to continue playing with monotype and monoprint and lately have switched from combining with image transfers to making stencils. I will be starting with 3x5 prints on 5x7 cardstock but am leaving myself open to change if I feel things getting stale. The first year I did the project I made small assemblage and I may do that halfway, who knows?!

I want to start the 100dayProject but not even sure where to start. Creativity is so broad. I guess I need to take my sketches for word and art illustrations to the next level. I gave myself a 30 day assignment to sketch was going on in my head and into the sketch book what transpired was a series of th mes and mini projects. What do I do next?

Hey Zena! Sounds like you’re pretty clear on your medium and subject. Starting today, sketch every day for the next 100 days. You don’t have to complete something every day, you can choose what counts for you. Most people share their progress on their social channels and add the hashtag #The100DayProject so that other people doing the project can find you and follow along.

It’s nice to know creativity isn’t rigid but an ongoing and ever evolving practice. What I thought I was going to be working on today shifted it’s now some poetry with visual expression.

Thanks Lindsay, i think I’ll do that also just wondering as I’ve read so many times one should finish what they start I would like to b live the sketches that I challenged myself to do on my 30 day project can somehow take on a new life of their own.

This sounds wonderful! I love the emphasis on “failing” being okay. We’re all constantly growing - why not celebrate by documenting it for 100 days?

I’m joining in this year for the first time! I’m doing 100 days of abstract painting so that I can play with colour and free up my work.
